 Zareshwar Maharaja 

From thousands of years ago being famous "Zari cho Dev " our Zareshwar Maharaja. Temple of this saviour is situated at Ponda Bazar, behind Police Station. Zareshwar Maharaja takes a round every mid-night into his premises and protect entire of his devotees and villages. This , every Sunday and Wednesday his devotees come to his temple and offer him Sugar , Shawls (Kamal), roosters and pray for their wishes and hopes . 

Zareshwar Maharaja reaches to every of the devotees call no sooner and solves their issues

There are some guardians with him mainly named as Bhumi purush at Durga bhat , Atola dev ,  vithoba dev , nakteshwar, Sakhya rama Dev . The spiritual tres is there since thousands years ago and more than found till date . Even Katamgal Maharaja is also a saviour guardian spirit. 

Why do people call him Zari cho Dev ?
Entire there was a field been cultivated here and thus was a water stream being only and we use to use that water for cultivation throughout the stream stretch till Kevalam.

 Rakhandar . In Goan folklore, a "Rakhandar" or "Rakhno" is a protective spirit believed to guard villages, fields, and crossroads, often depicted as a giant wearing a white dhoti with a bamboo stick. They are seen as protectors against evil spirits and are offered local items like roosters, liquor, and beedis.  There the announcement made us lot proud about the work we were heading towards , it already gave us great experience since first day when we started the proceedings of work with our team . We were 5 members heading towards this project , we had divided the work into 5 parts where gathering information, making up script , shooting the video , editing the video and adding the correct information to the dst.  We started with the work very prior to the submission date . As the places we selected for dst were Katamgal Dada ( Farmagudi Ponda Goa ) , Zareshwar Maharaj ( Ponda Goa ) and Gada Dev (Dhavlim Ponda Goa) which were all from Ponda it was my first concern...
